Shannon attended Fairhope High School, then graduated from the University of Alabama with a major in Advertising and a Marketing minor. After a successful career in pharmaceutical and advertising sales, Shannon made her dream of selling real estate come true in 2012. She served as the Chair for the Realtor Political Action Committee for the Baldwin County Association of Realtors for 2015-16 and 2016-17, and was a nominee for Realtor of the Year in 2017 & 2019. Shannon is a graduate of the 2018 Alabama Association of Realtors Leadership class, a 2019 AAR Professionalism Trustee and serves on the 2019-20 AAR Board of Directors. She was recently reelected to the 2021 - 23 AAR Board of Directors and earned her Graduate, Realtor Institute, Accredited Buyers Representative, Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource & Seller Representative Specialist designations. She is an e-PRO, Dave Ramsey Endorsed Local Provider and Google Certified agent. Shannon is one of a small group of Realtors in the state that is certified to teach the Graduate, Realtor Institute program. Shannon is a Baldwin Realtor Certified Specialist - Eastern Shore. She also was honored in October of 2020 with the Baldwin's Local Rockstar award by Baldwin Realtors. She has been the Qualifying Broker for Wise Living Real Estate since May of 2022 and relishes that role.Shannon is a passionate advocate for homeless, neglected and abused animals. She is instrumental in the annual production of the Mystic Mutts of Revelry parade that benefits the Haven for Animals each year and has served as Chairperson (since 2019) of the Mystic Mutts of Revelry parade, the Haven's largest fundraiser of the year. She is also one of the founding witches of the Fairhope Witches Ride, whose proceeds benefit local animal charities. In 2019, Shannon was appointed by County Commissioner Billy Jo Underwood to the Baldwin County Animal Advisory Board that advises the Baldwin County Commission regarding the county animal shelter. Shannon is a proud member of the 2022 Leadership Baldwin County class, and a new Clean Water Alabama board member. Shannon serves on the Board of Directors for The Lighthouse, Baldwin County's Domestic Violence Family Shelter. She recently completed Fairhope Police Departments Citizens Academy and is looking forward to the FBI Citizens Academy in the spring of this year.
 Shannon and her family are members of Fairhope United Methodist Church, where she was involved in youth missions and was the 2019 & 2020 Stewardship chairperson and 2018 co-chair of the Stewardship Committee. Shannon has twin daughters that attend Mississippi State University. Rescue dogs Weezie, Drake & CiCi round out the Hesse family.
